 The ideal candidate:

  • should be willing to teach in a number of locations in the Greater Manchester

  • A minimum of 12 months post qualification teaching experience
  • Have good organisational skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a small flexible team

 

Area 

  • have excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Prior experience of delivering accredited courses is desireable 
  • Have relevant qualifications for the role

Business Development/Employer Engagement Worker

 

The Training Brokers are wishing to grow its Apprenticeship programme delivery in Business Admin, Customer Service, Housing, Team Leading, Management, Youth Work, Fund Raising, Volunteering, Campaigning.

 

As a Business Development Worker, you will be someone with the experience and drive to take The Training Brokers services to the local business community especially the Third Sector. You will sell training products to businesses especially SMEs, the Third Sector, Housing Associations and local authorities.

 

You’ll also get involved in networking events throughout the North West and fulfil an important role as a member of the management team. 

 

Responsibilities

  • new business especially for our apprenticeship programme. You will be creating your own leads and setting up pitches, meeting prospects all the way through to closing new business.

  • Liaising with existing clients and identifying up sell opportunities.

  • To work closely with key individuals at The Training Brokers’ and to keep up to speed with our offer.

 

Skills

  • Must be knowledgeable in business development especially in the SME/Third sector market.

  • Must be a great negotiator and have the full ability to close deals.

  • Must have a strong background in business development.

  • Must have a strong sales focus with a proven track record of achievement.

  • Must be well connected – either with experience in similar role or through sales experience.

  • Must have a high quality of work, and be highly organised and accountable.

  • Must have drive and energy to succeed.

  • Must be professional and passionate about work.

 

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a proven track record of business to business sales solutions and a history of achieving targets. It is essential that you have the ability to communicate professionally and build rapport effectively. You will be well motivated and have a positive and proactive approach.

The remuneration of this role is highly dependent on your performance as a sales person.

 

Salary £17k + commission of more than £5k.
