About the course
This qualification aims to give you the knowledge and understanding of the key principles of dignity, the duty of care, and safeguarding as applied to adult health and social care. You will investigate the principles and how you can apply these in everyday work contexts.
You will also have an opportunity to examine the dilemmas and consequences that can arise when these principles are not upheld. The objectives of this qualification are to prepare you for further training and to support a role in the workplace where you may work or interact with vulnerable adults.
Contents of the Course
This course comprises of four units:
- Unit 1: Understanding safeguarding in adult health and social care
- Unit 2: Principles of dignity in adult health and social care practices
- Unit 3: Understanding the duty of care in adult health and social care
- Unit 4 Understanding dilemmas and public concerns in adult health and social care
What will this course cost?
If you earn less than £17,500 per year or are on state benefits, live within the Greater Manchester area, and are aged 19+ you will be entitled to full funding to complete this course for free
If you are self-funding for this course it will cost:
- Online: £449 Plus VAT
- Classroom delivery £565 Plus VAT
